HSG - University of St. Gallen is one of the leading buiseness schools in the world. The university has an important art collection including works by Gerhard Richter, Alberto Giacometti, Joan Miró, Alexander Calder, Georges Braque, Jean Arp, Pierre Soulages, Antoni Tàpies and Max Bill. Most works have been commissioned specifically for the various sites on campus where they are shown today.
The installation consists of several speakers hidden in specific spots of the building (in front of elevators, stairs, cafes, passage corridors, etc.).
Despite the acknowledgment of the institution for the event, to the work provoked strong reactions from the school's technical team: the speakers were constantly turned off.
It was extremely interesting to interrogate in this context, the connections and close reciprocity between art and such institution.
